The 13th Annual Good Earth Home, Garden and Living Show is coming up January 19-21, 2018 at the Lane Events Center. Both parking and admission are free, so come out to learn all about how make your home and life a little greener!

Home shows are excellent ways to accumulate information, resources, ideas and tools to help you with own home improvement tasks. You’ll meet local experts, builders, vendors and homeowners like yourself who want to make the most of the space where you dwell.

Your home is an ever-evolving project that will adjust to meet your family’s needs each month, year and decade that you live in it. Today, many homeowners are opting to modify their homes to reflect sustainable engineering and design with an eye toward saving resources and cutting costs. The Good Earth Home Show will specifically address those ecologically-minded issues facing homeowners today, while providing sound advice and information from some of the industry’s top makers.

Among the experts, there are several sustainable living pro’s as well as regional authors like Carol Deppe, PhD and author of “The Tao of Vegetable Gardening”.

Shop for organic, gluten-free and GMO-free foods and beverages in the Good Food Pavilion. Plus, you can test drive an electric bike in the Good2Go Pavilion.

Kids and Nature: Experience The Butterfly Adventure! Kids can feed the Painted Ladies butterflies with a nectar stick. It’s a great way to teach them about pollination and get some beautiful pictures to share on social media.

There’s also a DUCK Store Exhibit with ducklings! Bring your little ones to Story Time and Arts & Crafts at the Duckling Stage. Local 4-H children will be there with their animals.

ShelterBoxUSA will also be accepting donations from the public. Learn how your donation provides emergency aid supplies to families in need from natural disasters and humanitarian crises. You can make your donation at the Eugene Delta Rotary Exhibit (#1220) in the North Hall. Berg Productions (the Good Earth Home show management) will be doubling your donations up to $10,000.

Don’t forget: admission and parking are free, but attendees are asked to donate canned goods to serve Lane County.
